Keynote:
Guidance for university teachers in mastering students' innovation activities based on TRIZ (Theory of the Inventive Problem Solving)

Abstract:
The article represents an analysis of educational process of students of Universities at development of innovative activity on the basis of the TRIZ.
We described the experience of mastering innovations at the theoretical level by introducing disciplines into the content of education, and also at the practical level - providing the opportunity to participate in work with real problems, and skills creation of using received knowledge.
Our experiment on the introduction of innovative solutions in the process of teaching students made it possible to determine changes in content of the learning process and , and in the system of knowledge evaluation.
The developed exercises, the structure of consultations and accompanying material contribute to the formation of students' skills in solving real-practical problems in the educational process.

Short Bio:
- Co-organizer of the international scientific and practical conference "Development of creative abilities in the TRIZ-based process of education and training" / Chelyabinsk (2005-2009).
- the author of near 200 articles on TRIZ-based Education.

Directions of Galina Terekhova’s work concerning the TRIZ experiment in education:

- First stage (1994-1999)
Approaches to the organization of the educational process on the basis of TRIZ were developed; the necessary components for the functioning of the TRIZ education system were identified.
TRIZ education was completed, included training courses for TRIZ specialists (over 450 hours from leading experts in the field of TRIZ from different countries of Russia, Canada, Latvia, Belarus).
Approbation of the author's course on the basis of TRIZ for schoolchildren of 6-10 years was completed (1999)
- Second stage (2000-2011)
Programs for schoolchildren and students were implemented; courses for improving the qualification for the accompanying staff, conceptual provisions were tested. Theoretical positions and results of approbation of the course were presented by the PhD thesis on the topic "Creative tasks as a means of development of creativity of junior schoolchildren in the educational process" and the Master's thesis "Development of creative abilities of junior schoolchildren on the basis of TRIZ".
Courses for various targeted training in the field of TRIZ education for primary school students, middle school students, students, teaching and administrative staff of educational institutions were developed. So, for example, in the period from 1999 to 2014 more than 7000 schoolchildren attended the course "Lessons of creativity" through the system of additional education. More than 1,000 students (specialty teacher-psychologist) attended course for "Creative Personality Development on the Basis of TRIZ" and “Workshop on Solving Professional Problems Based on TRIZ" for the period from 2003 to 2014. More than 800 students of the Higher School of Management, the Higher School of Service and Tourism and the Higher School of Design attended the course "Fundamentals of TRIZ" in the period from 2011 to 2014. More than 300 teachers-professors passed courses of improvement of professional skill and preparation based on TRIZ for the period from 2005 to 2014.
- Third stage (2011- )
The main provisions of the concept, the conclusions of the results of the study "psychological and pedagogical support of subjects of TRIZ education" were generalized, refined and improved.
The conceptual provisions developed in collaboration with the teams of the TRIZ community were tested. For example, the provisions of innovative elements of education and corresponding support were presented in the project "Creator" (a team of TRIZ developers from Russia, Latvia, USA, Belarus), presented for the contest "Skolkovo School" (2011).
Regulations on the modern directions of TRIZ education in Russia have been developed by order of the Ministry of Science and Technology (South Korea), together with Alla Nesterenko (2012).
Psychological features of the construction of didactic models of work with the problem in the educational process were presented in the demo version of the electronic textbook "Fundamentals of creative solutions: an experimental course for schoolchildren of grades 7-9" (Publishers "Bookinfile", "Azbuka", co-authored with AA Nesterenko), 2014.
We created the course of solving problems for students of Korean elementary school (grades 1-6), as well as a set of scientific and methodological support, including a workbook for organizing individual work, handouts for organizing group work, card files and animation (2014).

Prof and Dr. Frieder Sieber

Keynote:
TRIZ as a method of analysis and creation of environmentally friendly and sustainable technological systems

Abstract:
The results and experiences of LIFIS ( Leibniz Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies, www.leibniz-institut.de ) in the application of TRIZ methods for the solution of environmental problems in the German industry are presented. This presentation discusses the following issues:
        - Content and principles of modern TRIZ methods
        - Interdisciplinary research (TRIZ, continuous technology, artificial intelligence, cybernetics) and their practical implementation in scientific and technical projects
        - content of training activities on interdisciplinary innovation management including TRIZ
Classical TRIZ is a general technical version. For practical use in engineering, it is necessary to have many specialized versions of TRIZ, differing in their nomenclature and content. Between the various versions of TRIZ there are certainly analogies. Some large corporations already use specialized versions of TRIZ, adapted to their fields of activity. Specialized versions of TRIZ are used to increase the operational efficiency , to reduce energy consumption, to improve equipment performance and to minimize waste.
This presentation deals with the development of a version of TRIZ for the synthesis and operation of continuous technological processes. These processes play a central role in the environmental sphere. TRIZ methods were used, for example, in the following projects (continuous technological processes):
        - Production of hydrocarbons from organic waste
        - Design, creation and operation of energy autonomous housing and industrial park (energy autonomy of the municipality)
        - An innovative method of using residual heat for power generation
        - Development and testing of mobile heat accumulator for waste heat and thermal mobility
        - Intelligent networks as virtual mini- power plants using renewable sources of energy (Sun, wind, biogas, diesel, etc.)
        - Production of fuel from sewage sludge
In this field LIFIS cooperates with engineering companies, universities and research institutes in Germany, Russia, Ukraine and Poland.
Training on the use of TRIZ methods in the framework of interdisciplinary research takes place in the unity of teaching and science. Students are included in the above-mentioned scientific and technical projects. During the study, internships are held in leading companies in Germany, Russia, Ukraine and Poland.

TRIZ applications in Hi-Tech High Volume Manufacturing

Abstract:
Hi-Tech High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) starts up and ramps up after a technology development is completed. At this phase, main chronical problems are typically solved and all processes are integrated into production flow. It is considered that the technology should work properly and reliably. The only requirement from HVM engineers is sustaining, allowing to keep the process running.
However, in real life, a number of problems occur both during and at the end of the process. These problems raised in a form of excursions and should be solved very fast and effectively. Hi-Tech manufacturing flow is typically very long because the material is processed through hundreds of operations, hence any delay in providing solution can result in a huge loss.
HVM problems must be solved fast; therefore, a special problem-solving flow is typically used. This flow is a strategy that consists of sequential steps for moving from problem definition to problem solution. The main challenge is that the flow does not explain how to complete each step. TRIZ concepts and tools are tightly integrated into HVM problem-solving flow and ensure a quick and effective solution.
During the speech, the effective integrations and applications of TRIZ tools into this problem-solving framework within Hi-Tech HVM will be discussed in details.
